I'm so glad you're here, stick around, there's so much to see, xo Shenica
I’m your go-to branding photographer and visual hype woman!
November has a way of sneaking up on everyone. One day you’re thinking about fall photos, and the next you’re wondering whether there’s still time to order holiday cards.
If you’ve been considering holiday family photos in Baton Rouge, now is a good time to start the conversation. You don’t need everyone’s outfits picked out or the location decided. But knowing what you want to do with your photos helps us plan a session date that makes sense.
“I just need photos before Christmas.”
I hear this often, and I understand. But if you want to mail cards or give framed portraits as gifts, your deadline comes before December 25.
After your session, there are still a few steps before those photos are ready to share. With Perfect Images Photography, the process includes:
That’s why choosing your session date starts with one question: When do you need the finished cards or gifts in your hands?
If you want cards to arrive by mid-December, work backward from that goal:
For framed prints, albums, or other photo gifts, check the specific product’s ordering deadline. Different items may need different amounts of production time.
Since it’s already November, start with your intended use and deadline when you inquire. We can discuss available dates and whether the timing works before you book.

Having extra time isn’t about making everything perfect. It gives you room to make decisions without rushing.
Outfits: You have time to choose colors that work together, try things on, and replace anything that doesn’t fit. Everyone doesn’t have to wear the same thing.
Scheduling: We can talk about a time that works with your family’s routine, especially if you have young children.
Location: We can choose a setting that fits your family and the look you want for your photos.
When those details are handled ahead of time, there’s less to worry about on session day. You can arrive ready to spend time with your family while I guide you through the photos.

You don’t need to show up with a finished plan. Helping you work through the details is part of what I do.
Tell me who will be photographed, how you hope to use your images, and any dates you’re considering. From there, we can talk through the session options, location, and what to wear.
And if mailed cards aren’t your goal, tell me that, too. A family portrait for your home or a digital holiday greeting may give us more flexibility with timing.
If family photos are still on your list this year, let’s find out what works for your family and your deadline.
